Do you listen to it or ignore it? What prompts you to do so?

"A man asked Muhammad what was the mark whereby he might know the reality of his faith. Muhammad said, "If thou derive pleasure from the good which thou hast performed and thou be grieved for the evil which thou hast committed, thou art a true believer." The man said. "In what doth a fault really consist?" Muhammad said, "when action pricketh thy conscience, forsake it."

All actions are judged by the motive prompting them."

Everyone has a conscience. Whether or not we listen to it is up to the individual.
Or course... mine it too loud and clear to ignore.
Really conscience is present with all human being but specially muslims, even the worst natured muslim have conscience.
...Of course I do have one and one must cultivate it.

It is one of the best friends one can have.

As is the saying..

...Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so....

So Good persons have plenty of it, and use it.
Oh yes! and I try to listen to it quite often...
