Jesus left an indelible fingerprint on just about everything we know or take for granted.

And the sad thing is: Most people don't realize it.

Take, for instance, the influence he had on art, architecture, music and literature.

The influence of Jesus is seen in the majestic European cathedrals, and the greatest art, sculptures and literature known to man.

Jesus influenced literature through authors such as:

+ Chaucer

+ Shakespeare

+ Dickens

+ Milton

Had Jesus never been born, music would likely be different too. There may never been a need for cantatas, the concerto or symphony. Jesus inspired all of these.

Let's not forget that Handel, Vivaldi and Bach were all Christians who composed for the glory of God.

So, what would the world be like without the Cisteen Chapel, St. Peter鈥檚 Basilica or Handel鈥檚 Messiah performed on Christmas Eve? It's a strange thought, isn't it?

So....why even bother acknowledging there were so many civilisations and religions more than 2000 years ago if you're going to say 'jesus did this' and 'jesus did that'?

Actually, Jesus didn't make much of an impact himself; but he had a hell of a PR agent - Paul. PAUL was the one that preached Jesus to the Gentiles; since they didn't know the Torah to dispute Paul's teachings, they took the bait, and a "messiah" was born.
